A good if not spectacular performance by Jesmond saw them deservedly grab all three points. Central Utd did not get a look in until Jesmond made it 2-0 in the 54th minute. After that the visitors woke up and were unlucky with the woodwork a couple of times. In the end, a spectacular free kick was the only consolation for them from the game.
